Caring for our patients and each other. It’s what makes Winterberry special.
At Winterberry we work hard everyday to live up to our motto which is “Live your best life”. This means when we’re helping you we look at the whole person. From ensuring you have the right healthcare providers to helping make appointments easy and convenient (hello online booking and same day booking!); there isn’t a single aspect of your healthcare that we take for granted.
We take the same care with the members of our Winterberry team. We search out and find the very best medical and administrative professionals. We encourage our team to continually upgrade their skills and reward them for being the best in the industry. We take every opportunity we have to be grateful to our team and to celebrate all that they accomplish.
In this month’s newsletter we’re showcasing one of our team members and sharing important updates with you. Our goal? To help you live your best life. And part of that is ensuring you feel up to date on everything we’re doing!
Your mental health is part of your overall health.
Wellness is having a community of friends you enjoy.
Lonliness is often cited as being bad for your health. At Winterberry we take that to heart and that’s one of the reasons why we frequently give our team ways to connect with each other and the community. Recently our team got together for dinner and good times. These casual events are about forming friendships outside of the clinic and are an important part of ensuring everyone on our team feels connected and valued. Where we work is an important part of our lives and at Winterberry we make it as meaningful and fulfilling as possible.

Physician Assistants play a big role at Winterberry
In this month’s Team Showcase we’re shining the spotlight on Kathleen. As a Physician Assistant she plays a vital role in helping our patients live their best life! We caught up to Kathleen for a quick Q+A session so she can help our patients understand what she does at Winterberry and how that improves their quality of care. Here’s a quick snippet but please click on this link to read the full Showcase Article:
What is a Physician Assistant?
A Physician Assistant (PA) is an allied health practitioner that works under direction of a supervising physician. PAs work within the scope of practice of their supervising physician to provide medical care. PAs and NPs alike improve access to care for patients everywhere. These vital assistants examine, diagnose and treat patients under the guidance and direction of a physician. They have the authority and certifications necessary to prescribe medication, interpret test results, examine patients and give patients treatment plans.
